Belt Handling

Creasing and folding weakens the fabric considerably and care must be taken to ensure no damage occurs during installation. PTFE-glass fabrics are particularly sensitive in this respect. For storage it is recommended that small belts are left in their boxes and that larger belts are also kept on the tubes supplied by Biscor. If damage occurs in use, remove the belts quickly, as repair is often possible. Keep a spare belt in stock in order to facilitate this. When returning belts for repair, they should be packed as supplied, and not folded.
