Hinged Belt Splices

K2SP Wire dia: 0.62mm Pitch: 1.70mm (59hooks/100mm) Produces a flat unobtrusive splice generally used on belts up to 1500mm wide Temperature rating: - 50° to + 260°C SP = Short point
The finer wired K2SP has a greater total cross section of wire than the coarser K4SP and all things being equal should be stronger. However, abrasion of the splice and perforation of the bullnose must also be taken into consideration. The effect of these varies with type of material. Available normally in Galvanised Steel or Stainless Steel.
